The DRU classic model 

The DRU classic model was produced in the 1970's and 1980's. The DRU classic model has a cylindrical shape with a fine-polished, dull outer surface. The control unit and the automatic cleaning system are not attached to the tank, but need to be mounted on a nearby wall. The cleaning system is simple and effective, using two spray-balls, permanently installed inside the tank, and a cleaning pump with drain valve, that needs to be attached to the DN50 tank outlet before each complete cleaning cycle. This model has a capacity range of 1250 liters to 12000 liters.

The DRU Kompakt a.k.a. "the new model"  

The DRU Kompakt, often referred to as " the new model", was produced in the 1990's and the early years of the 2000 decade. The DRU Kompakt model has the same cylindrical shape with a fine-polished, dull outer surface as the classic model. The main differences between the classic and the new DRU model are the tank legs construction, and the fact that the control unit and the automatic cleaning system are attached to the front of the tank. The cleaning system is simple and effective, using two spray-balls. The tank control unit operates electronically, with touch buttons on the front panel. The digital thermometer is integrated in the electronic control system. Apart from the electronic control unit, which is very reliable, all other parts are generic, so replacement parts can easily be found locally, world-wide.
This DRU Kompakt model has a capacity range of 1250 liters to 12000 liters.

The DRU open tank model

Small amounts of milk can be cooled with the DRU vertical open tanks. This model has a capacity range of 530 liters to 1200 liters.
